Open Records Policy

Elsa V.F.D policy is to provide you with the fullest possible access to public information. If you wish to request records under the Texas Public Information Act, please refer to the following requirements and guidelines.

• Requests must be made in writing. Telephone requests are not considered open records requests.
   
• If you would like a response, please include your name, address, telephone number and a clear description of the records you are requesting in all open records requests.
  
  
• Written requests may be mailed, faxed or delivered in person to our offices at P.O. box 422, Elsa,TX 78543 or 125 E. 4th St., Elsa, TX 78543, or to the addresses listed on the contact pages.
   
• E-mail requests will be accepted only if they are sent through our web site in accordance with 43 TAC Chapter 3. To send an open records request now, please use our Contact Us Open Records Request Page.
